Junior Engineer – Hydro Power Project (Site-Based)
LOCATION
Pugali Hydro Power Project Site
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
EXPERIENCE
2–5 years preferred. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong fundamentals may also be considered.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Civil Engineer in our Hydropower Division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping critical infrastructure — from intake structures to powerhouse civil works. This role demands precision, discipline, and the ability to translate design intent into high‑quality execution on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute and supervise civil works for hydropower components:
Intake, de-silting basin, and approach channel
Penstock alignment and foundations
Powerhouse civil structures
Tailrace and discharge systems
Dam / weir components
Ensure strict adherence to drawings, technical specifications, and QA/QC protocols.
Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Conduct material inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
Prepare daily progress reports, measurement sheets, and site records.
Uphold safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance at all times.
Support surveying, leveling, and layout activities as required.
Required Competencies
Strong understanding of hydropower civil engineering principles.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, MS Office, and basic project management tools.
Ability to interpret structural drawings and technical documentation.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work in demanding site conditions with a disciplined, proactive approach.
